We provide the reliable iPhone Battery Replacement

The battery is one of the components of a phone which has a shelf life. Other parts, like the display, hardware and software can last for as long as 7 years. Batteries on the other hand have a limited shelf life. Just like the car battery, phone batteries also decrease in performance after a period of use. Once the battery reaches at this state, it will start losing charge in a matter of minutes. This may not be a big issue since you can always have the option of carrying a power bank around. But it can also be frustrating. Once the battery starts draining quickly, a lot of people tend to believe that the whole phone needs to be replaced. But this is not the case. The truth is that you only need to invest in a new phone battery.

How to quickly tell if your iPhone battery need to be replaced?

The lifespan of your battery reduces each and every time you use your phone. According to Apple, an iPhone battery can accommodate up to 500 charge cycles before its efficiency starts to drop. Every time the phone is charged, one cycle is used. When the phone is used for up to 2 years, the battery lifespan will drop. Here are some of the ways that you can tell when your battery needs to be replaced.

1. Get a reliable battery app from iTunes app store

There are quite a number of apps that can give updates on your battery condition. If possible, ensure that you download one of these apps. The apps are especially useful in providing an overview of your iPhone battery performance. They can also give you information about the remaining battery life. If you are notified that your phone battery is in a poor condition, know that the battery may have to be replaced soon.

2. Go to: Settings > Battery > Low Power Mode

View the low power mode of the iPhone battery
If you see a message that reads ‘your iPhone battery may need to be serviced’, it is a clear indication that you should replace the battery.

IPhone Battery Replacement Steps

Step 1: Switch the phone off and unscrew the pentelobe bottom screws located near the charging port
Step 2: Unscrew the metal plate covering the battery connector and remove it using your fingers or tweezers
Step 3: Completely remove the front assembly of the phone. It is actually possible to proceed without necessarily removing the phone assembly, but you can risk tearing the cables. This is especially when the front is not help with caution. If you happen to tear the cables, you will have to part with up to $100 to replace the front assembly.
To remove the front assembly, remove the five screws that hold the top metal plate ensure that the screws are safely placed.
Step 4: You can use different methods to remove the iPhone battery. The battery is usually help with two strong strips of adhesive. You can pull out the adhesive strips from underneath the phone. Make sure that you proceed with caution since tearing the adhesive strips can damage the battery. Alternatively, you can heat the back of the phone using a hair dry, which helps in softening the adhesive. In this way, it will be easier for thee battery to come out.
Step 5: Pull new adhesive in place (or use a regular tape if the adhesive did not come out) and put the iPhone battery on top of it. If you use a tape, make a loop with the sticky side out. put the loop in the same place where the old adhesive was and use your fingers to press down the battery.
Step 6: Lower the front assembly to the back assembly. The top of the front assembly should be adjacent to the top of the back assembly. Lastly, press together the two assemblies using your fingers and put back the screws.

After your iPhone battery is replaced, you can now reset the date and time which is usually rolled back to default. You can also synchronize the phone (preferable with a wi-fi network) to automatically adjust the date and time.
